Late comment, but this can't be 1912 as Alpha Delta Pi was still Alpha Delta Phi in 1912. Did it have 1912 inscribed on it? If so, I wonder if it was a replacement badge bought just after the name change but engraved with the owner's pre-name-change initiation date...
